As expected, soaks everything up and drys quickly. Not super soft, but for that you can go buy a cotton towel. A good buy for travelling when weight matters.

My 9-year-old daughter recently started participating on a local swim team. This sports towel makes the post-practice switch from sopping wet suit to street clothes almost seamless. It soaks up the water and keeps her from being cold, and she can easily get her other clothes back on before having to go out into the chilly, Colorado evening. Even her hair is nearly dry after she goes over it with the sports towel. We're definitely fans!

We ordered 2 of these towels, one for each of our young swim team members. We love the fact that we can travel with so little bulk. The towels dry my kids off just fine.
The only problem is that a small towel like this cannot be wrapped around one's self for warmth. So, we just bring a sweat suit to slip into.
